Would taking flu shot help. I have COPD

Taking the flu shot will not directly prevent COVID-19. However, taking the flu shot will help to prevent influenza which will reduce the overall burden on the healthcare system, and prevent others you are close to from getting influenza.  If you do get influenza, it will also make you likely more susceptible to COVID-19. Therefore, I think it's a good idea to take the flu shot.
