Something that helps me

Hi there I just wanted to post something that may help other asthmatics. I am severe asthmatic since I was 18 months old and I am now 50, female. Allergy related (the usual suspects)+++ I am very diligent with my meds (Foxair +) and I see a specialist physician every 4 months. I met the physician in hospital after a bad bout of bronchitis/pneumonia and he introduced me to diligent sinus rinsing (twice a day). I do the sinus rinsing religiously and I have stayed well through change of season and various other challenges. It is almost a year and during this time I haven't been ill or using my nebuliser or in hospital or on antibiotics or cortisone injections or Prednisone. I am on the minimum of meds now (controlling dose). All I want to say is that I see sinus rinsing as my best friend, 2 minutes a really works and coming from a severe asthmatic all I can say is I wish I had started when I was still a child. May have saved me much in terms of hospital visits, cortisone, sick leave and discomfort.
