Q.

Shortness of breath??

Its been over a month and i still have a cold type of flu but im not sure if it is a flu, because im coughing every day i get re sick and i cough more in the night and i cannot sleep because i cant breath. i cant breath properly when im sitting down also and when i take deep breaths its hard and kind of hurts. my nose also is always blocked when i lie down and if its not i still cannot breath properly. is this asthma or something else? cuz my nose dosnt act like it has a cold but i still cough with little flem.

It sounds very much like you have chronic hay fever and a post-nasal drip.  Given that you cannot breath properly, it is also possible that you may have asthma.  However, there are so many reasons why you might be having chronic cough and difficulty in breathing.  You need to see a doctor to investigate and treat these underlying possibilities including getting a chest x-ray.
