Q.

Do i need an inhaler?

I always breathe in big deep breathes and when I do breathe it takes roughly 2 minutes for me to stop and be normal then it all starts again all day

Sounds like you have dysfunctional breathing. You need to see a respiratory physiotherapist who can teach you a set of sustainable breathing exercises to resynchronise your breathing. It is a common problem but the prognosis is very good and entirely curable.
