This sounds like he may have a heart rhythm problem. This can sometimes be triggered off by asthma nebulisation and medication. You can talk to your cardiologist again and they can hook on a monitor to run even when he's at home so that they can pick up an abnormal heartbeat. Minimising the nebuliser use might be useful and you can discuss this with your asthma specialist. Often nebulisers are unhelpful and are not required if proper asthma medication, i.e. inhalers and other medication is given.
