Q.

How do I treat nerve pain?

On the 1st March 2019 I have done total knee replacement I was fine after that but since June I am suffered from nerve pain in the same leg of TKR, I went back several times to my orthopedic but he only said its a common pain he even referred me to MRI SCAN but still the results came its a common pain of which I cant even work because of this pain, my orthopedic prescribed me pain tablets I should use only to find out they are destroying my liver on the other hand because these supplements are strong so I went to my GP (General Practitioner) she advised me to stop using any pain tablet for the sake of this liver problem within 3 months then I should come back to her so that she will do another tests and taking from there. I am so stressed because I don't know what should I do now when I try to help nerve pain another body organ becomes damaged this is all stressing me.

This is not an easy problem to treat but it usually improves over time.

Sometimes, Amitriptyline helps
