Q.

High uric acid levels

Should I take prescribed meds, colchicine and puricos, simultaneously? I thought the physician said so but the pharmacist said not. Now confused.

You can use the two together. Once the puricos takes effect and you are no longer getting acute attacks, you can reduce and then stop colchicine.

Puricos will need to be taken lifelong.
