Q.

Cholesterol medication and arthritis

Is it true that cholesterol lowering drugs like statins can cause arthritis or some stiffness in the joints? For the past 10 years, I am using 20mg Simvastatin. I am currently 52 years old. Does this means that I will have stiffness at an early age? Is there something that I can do to prevent it?
