Q.

Can my twin sister donate cartilage for my knees?

My knees are both damaged from osteoarthritis. Instead of replacing the knee can we not transplant some cartledge??

Unfortunately cartilage transplantation does not work, but there are studies in animals on stem cell transplant.

You will most likely need knee replacements at some stage.
