Q.

Arthritis in my foot

I have pain in my foot after I started wearing prescription soles. The pain is on the side of the foot beside the big toe on my right foot. Sometimes there is a sharp pain that comes, but it only lasts for a few seconds. Ice packs and heating pads do not help and I have worn different shoes from dr. scholls

It is difficult for me to work out what the pain could be due to, apart from points of pressure.

Try a pair of "Crocs" shoes, which are usually broad and see if that makes a difference.
