  1. Rus ’n paar dae. Bly in die bed, moenie oefening doen nie en drink baie vloeistof soos water, vars vrugte- en groentesap of sop.
  2. Vermeerder jou vitamien A-inname tot 10 000 iu en jou vitamien C tot 1 000-2 000 mg per dag terwyl jy siek is. Verdeel dit in verskillende dosisse.
  3. Navorsing toon dat Echinacea purpurea die duur van verkoues en griep verkort.

  • Meng in warm water: knippies gemmer, kaneel, mosterd, rooipeper en borrie, ’n vars knoffelhuisie (opsioneel), ’n bietjie suurlemoensap, heuning en brandewyn (opsioneel). Drink dit gereeld tot jy beter voel.
  • Stoom toe sinusse oop met bloekomolie wat in kokende water opgelos is.
