Q.

How can i get rid of having to use nasal spray

i've been using nasal spray for months and my nose has been getting worse evertime and now i cant barely breathe with out nasal spray and its not even lasting 12 hours it only lasts a few hours and i have to keep buying more, i cant even sleep because of it. i need help

The nasal spray you are using sounds like an OTC decongestant spray (Iliaden, Otrivine or Sudafed). These are problematic as they can cause rebound blockage of the nose and worsening symptoms if used for a long time. The condition is called Rhinitis Medicamentosa. You need to use a low dose steroid nasal spray such as Beclate to weans yourself off the decongestant.
