Chronic Urticaria (Hives)  can persist for many months and years. It is usually not caused by an underlying allergy. Your Total IgE of 700ku/l and positive tests for pollen, mould and use dust mites would trigger rhinitis, asthma and eczema, but are unlikely to be a trigger for the urticaria. The urticaria may be triggered by an underlying auto-immune trigger such as thyroid disease, low grade infection or lupus. Regular antihistamines are the mainstay of urticaria control.
