I hope you will not be offended by my English reply. I wonder if your son is taking English as a second language at school? If so, it is important to remember that a second language subject at school will be somewhat easier than a first language. It is also important to consider which language he is better able to express himself in. Unfortunately, Afrikaans is not heard as readily as English these days. I doubt this is in any way related to the ADD.
