Q.

Can my son trial ADHD medication?

His Corner scoring as assessed by a educational psychologist suggests that he struggles a lot with impulsivity. He does not have a learning disability , marks are actually good, but he's behavior gets him into trouble at school almost every month. Does he still need to see a pediatrician or can a GCP prescribed?

It is recommended that your son consults with a psychiatrist or pediatrician to confirm the presence of ADHD, or other disorders which can "mimic" as ADHD, prior to the initiation of medication.
