Q.

What is the time period before Mentat starts to work effectively?

I give my 12 year old Mentat, 2 tabs in the morning. How long before I see results as I have noted a dip since swopping from ADDvance to Mentat. Are 2 tabs enough? He also takes Pharmaton for kids. is this a good combination?

If your child has ADHD, it is important that he/she needs proper treatment of which the effectiveness was established in randomised clinical trials. There is currently no evidence for the use of ADDvance or Mentat for the treatment of ADHD. There is some evidence for the use of omega 3 and 6 supplementation in mild ADHD.
