Q.

Bipolar

I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I'm on Serdept and epitec. My mood has stabilised, and I don't get depressed that often. But I have absolutely no ambition, I struggle to do my work, and have never, been able to complete anything that I start. I took a variety of different tests on ADHD in adults and scored very high. Will Ritalin help me?

I would be extremely hesitant to use Ritalin if your bipolar disorder is not extremely well controlled, and the diagnosis of ADHD clearly confirmed. A better alternative will be to replace sertraline with bupropion. Please discuss with your psychiatrist.
