Q.

Adult ADHD

Good Day. In 2013 I was diagnosed with GAD by a GP. In April this year I saw a psychrist and was diagnosed with major panic disorder, PTSD and GAD. After year on and off of meds I have decided to try cannabis oil. The person i saw said that I had ADHD ... could this be a result from my panic / anxiety disorder. As my mind just does NOT switch off at night.... I battle to focus and concentrate and some times complete tasks at work. ( I'm 41 years old)

It is crucial to have a comprehensive assessment. Many patients with undiagnosed and untreated ADHD can suffer with comorbid conditions/ complications such as anxiety disorders. However, when you are very anxious, you may also struggle to concentrate and to "switch off" which could mimic ADHD.
