The World Health Organisation marked 31 May World No Tobacco Day #WNTD. This global reminder is geared toward raising awareness of the dangers of tobacco and the effect it has on your health. 

Apart from health, the international tobacco crisis also affects also the economy of many countries, with South Africa being one of them.

According to the WHO "tobacco control can break the cycle of poverty, contribute to ending hunger, promote sustainable agriculture and economic growth, and combat climate change".
