Avoid the morning rush

Mornings are rushed, what with finding a suitable outfit for work, eating breakfast, getting the kids to school and jumping through the bath – all before 8 a.m. There are things you can do to start the day off on the right foot.

Take action:
Wake to soothing music – a screeching alarm will just give you a nasty shock; have breakfast – this will boost your energy and concentration levels; include some fresh fruit in your breakfast – starting the day in a healthy way is good for body and soul; put out your clothes the night before – scurrying around at 7 a.m., frantically looking for the shirt that goes with the skirt you want to wear, is no fun; drink water – many people are slightly dehydrated in the morning; try not to fight with anyone early in the morning – it can upset you for the rest of the day.
