Living areas - air

There is nothing worse than that musty odour of dark, confined spaces. Except perhaps if the aroma of old and unwashed dog or cigarette smoke is added to it.

Indoor pollution is among the top five environmental health risks and the first people to notice if there is a problem with the indoor air, are the elderly, the very young, those with allergies, pregnant women and those who have asthma or other respiratory ailments.

A bedroom lacking proper ventilation will also leave its occupants feeling sluggish and lacking in energy the next day.

Proper ventilation is essential for a healthy home and homeowners must ensure that their homes have this. Clean air is essential for healthy living.

Living areas - air solution

We spend the majority of our time indoors. It makes sense that we should keep the indoor air as clean and pleasant-smelling as possible. We have to breathe – all the time – and indoor air quality should be of extreme importance to everyone.

The installation of air conditioners can make a big difference to both air quality and air temperature. So can regular opening of windows in order to let fresh air in. Vacuuming the carpets will also get rid of dusty carpet odours.

Air fresheners and aromatic candles can go a long way to making your home smell pleasant and create a nice space for your friends and family in which to relax.
