Smartphones may leak more radiation than expected

The investigation suggests that particular smartphone models may exceed radio frequency radiation safety limits.


After testing 11 popular smartphone models – which included various Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models – the Chicago Tribune found that one specific model's radio frequency absorption level is among the worst of those tested.
