The Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour is world-renowned, and attracts enthusiasts from all over. This year we’re all buzzing about Lance Armstrong; last year it was Matt Damon who got us all sweaty.

But did you know Phil Liggit, commentator on the tour (and, of course, the Tour de France) has a very respectable 03:07:11 under his belt? He knocked the socks off our own Professor Tim Noakes, whose best time seems to have been a still-respectable 3:37:24.
