CrossFit is a Core Strength and Conditioning Program which utilises varied functional movements carried out at high intensity to improve form and fitness, and Brandon Faber who weighs 120kg has just taken up the challenge!

Diane Vierira Teles, Part Owner and Coach at CrossFit 360 where Faber sweats in aim of losing 20 kilos, has said that she is confident that Brandon will be able to manage the course in spite of his weight as the program is designed to accomodate people with different levels of fitness and flexibility.
"The course draws on the modalities of basic gymnastics, powerlifting, plyometric work, kettlebells as well as running and rowing," she says.
Group sessions consist of a maximum of five members and last between 45-60 minutes. Each session focuses on different parts of the body but follows a general format of warm-ups and then strength and fitness training.
Brandon has signed up for three months of CrossFit 360Vida and will attend two sessions per week. Health24 will follow his journey and report on his progress once a week.
