Yellow fever vaccination

Will be travelling to Zanzibar on Monday 17th Dec 2007. Can only receive vaccination on Wednesday 12th Dec 2007. This is only 5 days before the time and not the required 10 days. Will this still be ok?

Hallo Shaun
Your body needs time to start making the antibodies and you will have a risk of not being 100% protected if you do not get it long enough before the time. Take precautions so that you are not bitten by mosquitos - like wearing long sleeved clothes after dark, not using aftershave, putting on deterrants like Tabard etc.

Will be traveling to Rio Brazil and needs the vaccination to be done. HIV positive and cd4 count below 400. Read on the Travel doctor that this is dangerous? What do I do?
