WOmen can educate and change men

Having heard of men struggling to understand and accept that women nowadays are totally independent and may in many ways “not need any thing from men anymore.” Can you let us in on your thought about the status of women in South Africa – challenges, opportunities, weaknesses and threats – especially in relationships (with men or any lover)?

This may enlighten men, so when you put your points across, do bear in mind that intention (educating men about women of today). In addition, do not point out only ills by men, provide alternatives and propose possible solution. Can we as women do this in a style, in a way that shares and empowers rather than obliterate men – they are still our husbands, boyfriends, brothers, fathers, uncles, colleagues and so forth.

I have never met "women in South Africa", only many individual women, in South Africa and elsewhere, so I hesitate to genealize. Like men, specific women enjoy a range of situations of different status, some earned and some undeserved, whether high or low. Wouldn't it be best for everyone, of both sexes to help those they relate to, to understand themselves better ?

the fact is that the future is no place for many and i personally don't think there is any thing wrong with men, however there is everything wrong with absolute power and imposition of woman in opportunities just for the mere fact of statistics, don't get me wrong, i know traditionally man use to be the provider and we have seen what they have done as a result of this role, yes some abused their wives and others treated their wives with respect and love they deserved.

we need to understand the basic rules of humanity, man and men are different whether we like that or not. back then it was easy to say men should work and i will cleqan as roles but the roles have changed since then..this lead to all sorts of confusion and our constitution does not recgnise the impact of shitf in power and responsibilies..what this country needs is a balance of power proteced by the constitution right now it is just one sided and i believe the future is no place for any man..it ialready hard enough for white men to find jobs in this country ..
