We saw an ad of an abandoned Bull Dog that is up for adoption at FORA. My husband has a soft spot for Bull Dogs and want to adopt this 5 year old male. We only have one dog at the moment, a female yorkie she is 2 and a half years old, sterilised will she be okay with this new addition to our family.

Dear Michelle

Bull Dogs do not have a massively strong bite so you should be OK.

Who knows?

You need to talk to the people at Fora - some dogs get on fine with others, and some don' t. Same applies to your dog - is she socialised?

The Fora people will help you decide on whether the bulldog is suitable, and will also be able to advise you on introducing the two.
