will vaginal scan show anything in 1st month

I went to the gynea a week before my period was due and he did a vaginal scan and IDd pcos. I have been ttc for a while so am not using any protection. Would he have been able to see if we had conceived when he did the scan? I am asking 'cause my period might be late.

They can only see something once your count is over 2000, about week 5 so no, I don't think he'll be able to see something, he might say it might be, but not for sure...
