Dear Need to know
Thank you for visiting health24.com.
Please be so kind as to advise me if you are a smoker, how old you are and if the pain is associated with shortness of breath and or coughing. If it is only a pain that migrates over the chest wall, it can be a mild case of costo-condritis. You should have a chest x-ray done, to exclude underlined pathology. You can use a short course of pain killers in the meantime and see if this eleviates the pain.
