Why only during the festive season?

Just a thought I'd share ......

Why are old hatchets more likely to be buried during the "festive season"?. Is it because we suffer from a sense of guilt? Why do we have to wait a year for our pride to get put into our pockets and put the past behind us to allow us to contact that "long forgotten someone" we had a fallout with god know when and over what we cannot remember?

why do we take so long to unite our families. End the fueds? Is Christmas time an excuse because we tend to be worn out from the year and more filled with the "spirit of giving"...........

Just a thought ......... (this was not intended to offend, but rather to get other views and opinions)

Maybe you're right. Maybe it's the idea that the Festive season gives an excuse to end a feud that both parties may have wanted to end, but neither wanted to lose face by making the first move.
