which muscle groups to train together

hi,
Iv heard so many different opinions about which muscle groups to train together ie: chest and bicepts etc but which combinations are the best for all round mass building or should I train one muscle group per day.

Let me tell you how I train and how I advise others to do:
Chest, Triceps and Shoulders: day 1
Back, Legs and Biceps: day 2

The reason for the above is that I find that ob my day one I use triceps in all those exercises and that if I do not do them together my triceps don't rest and that I become susceptible to injury.
