Our expert says:
There are a few ways to find out when one is ovulating. A very special thermometer measuring ones Basel body temperature can be use to ascertain if you are ovulating or not, if there is a rise in your temperature which normally occurs at the time of ovulation then this is a somewhat crude method of determining if ovulation is taking place. Another method and probably a little more accurate is commercially available urine LH test kits that is available at many pharmacies and the urine is checked for an LH surge and that will help determine if ovulation is taking place. The most accurate measure is to check for folliculogenesis were serial ultrasounds are undertaken by your gynaecologist.
