Dear Mrs B
There are many different causes of miscarriages and depending on how many miscarriages you have had the causes are somewhat different. Also depending on what stage in the pregnancy you miscarried the return-to-normal ovulation varies accordingly. In the early first trimester miscarriages, ovulation may occur within a month, but in more advanced miscarriages, ovulation may take somewhat longer and may vary between 6-12 weeks before spontaneously occurring. It is also important to note that a single miscarriage is a fairly common occurrence and should not perturb you unnecessarily.
