Make sure that you obtain a chromium supplement that contains chromium polynicotinate (this has been declared safer than chromium picolinate by the UK Government) and do NOT exceed a dose of 200 microgram per day. Chromium is a heavy metal and although a small quantity may help with weightloss, larger doses can be harmful.
