Andre, the best is for her to see again the shrink or doc who started her on the Prozac, for an assessment to confirm that this is a good time for her to stop the medication. Deeve is right ! As Prozac ( Fluoxetine ) tends to be more slowly eliminated than some other popular antidepressants, most people don't have problems on simply stopping it. The important thing is that check with her shrink to be sure that the depression itself is over and that she doesn't need the drug anymore.

Surely this was discussed with her by the Shrink who prescribed the meds in the first place??????? Surely she hasn't taken this on her own.....?? You definitely need advice from where the tablets came.
