Water on lungs cat

My neighoburs tabby cat got water on his lungs about 2 months ago and has been on anit biotics etc.His breathing seems to be slightly better but he is now just skin and bones. He also does not seem to have control over his bowels etc.She really loves this cat and is now considering putting him down unless some other solution can be obtained.<br>Please can you help

There must be a reason for the weightloss. If the cat had water on the lungs too it does not sound good. If it continually looses weight it probably has a terminal disease. If a diagnosis could be made putting it to sleep may be the only option.

R2000 later more than one vist back to the vet .Looking for something that vet might be missing or alternative meds

She needs to take the cat back to the vet.
