Generally speaking diet should only affect your voice if you are allergic or sensitive to certain foods and your reaction is one of producing too much mucous. If this is the case, then you need to have allergy tests done - ask your gp to send you for the relevant tests and if you are allergic or sensitive to one or more foods then you would have to cut them out. It is no use cutting out whole food groups when you may be producing mucous because your are sensitive to other allergens like animal hairs or grasses. Have the tests and let's see what the results are before you make any dietary changes.
