vit E

Ek lees dat margarien en olie ook bronne van vitamien E is. As ek medium vet margarine gebruik, beteken dit seker dit het die helfte vet en dus die HELFTE VIT E? in vergelyking met gewone margarien. Low fat margarien het seker omtrent niks vit E nie. Is my aanname reg?

Nee, die vetinhoud van margarien sal nie die vit E inhoud so veel beïnvloed nie aangesien vit E as 'n anti-oksidant by margarien en olies gevoeg word om oksidasie van die vette te verhoed. Dus behoort die verskillende soorte margarien almal omtrent dieselfde vit E inhoud te hê. Volgens die SA Voedseltabelle bevat poli-onversadigde margarien omtrent 60 mg vit E per 100g, terwyl 'Lite' margarine 45 mg vit E/100g bevat, wat nog steeds 'n bydrae tot jou inname sal maak.
