VERY SORE HEELS

My heels are very sore and the pain is unbearable. i cannot walk at times. I have seen a doctor who has injected a cortozone injection which relieved the pain for a day or so. I was told to have physiotherapy which i am doing and is not much of a help. I am a Diabetic and 59 yrs old. Can you suggest what else can gelp me.
