very dry mouth, does preganacy have anything to do with it?

i am 2 months pregnant and in the last month, I have been constantly thirsty with a very dry mouth all the time, I know its hot, but drinking water constantly doesnt seem to help, and I am not dibetic and do not eat salty foods. So does pregnancy have anything to do with it?

This is not a usual symptom of pregnancy. In fact, there is often increased saliva. It may be that the hot weather is causing this. You should also be checked for diabetes as this can develop in pregnancy for the first time.

Best wishes
