Our expert says:
I have come across addiction to, or at least dpendence on, Grandpa powders, and it is indeed not a healthy habit especially at a dose of 12 a day. If you have permanent headache, rather see a good doctor for a check-up, even a psychiatrist or neurologist, if necessary, to identify the cause of the pain, as that would help remove the cause, rather than trying to mask it with the Grandpa. And increasing the dose doesn't increase the benefit.
Grandpa's contents aren't especially sinitser --- Aspirin ( which can cause stomach irritation or even ulcers in large quantities ) ; Paracetamol ( causing liver damage in large quantities ) and Caffeine, which may, by providing a "lift" of stimulation, be part of what you're hooked on. In doses of 12 or more a day, these effects can be dangerous. So see the doctor, especially perhaps a psychiatrist, for advice and assistamnce in planning how to come off them gradually and to attend to the real causes of the pain. For instance, these could be migraines, or stress headaches, which could repond really well to approppriate meds.
