Use of tampons

My daughter is 12 and has recently started her menstrual periods. She is very active and does a lot of swimming. Is it advisable for a girl her age to use tampons to allow her to swim during her menstruation?

There is no reason for her not to use tampons. She may have difficulty inserting them initially though, so try the mini-tampons.

Lilets have mini tampons with gel to make insertion easier.
