urinary prolapse

what is used to support the uterus in urinary prolapse. I know it inserts up the vaginal canal to hold things in place.

Do you mean uterine prolapse? There are a number of ligaments which support the uterus and keep it in the right position. Laxity of these ligaments causes prolapse.
