Unsunchronised Eye movement

Can a trouble thyroid result in unsynchronised eye movement?
Someone told me this but it sounds hard to believe.

I had a similar problem recently - it was diagnosed as Bells Palsy. See your doctor for a course of cortisone. This can be due to the Herpes virus as well.
