UIF and tax not paid

The company my husband worked for said that they were liquidating in Dec 09. The subsequently closed without paying him his leave pay etc. We took the matter to MIBCO who picked up that no UIF has been paid on his behalf even though deductions were made from his salary. SARS has also indicated that no contributions were made since Aug.

MIBCO says that the company has not announced any liquidation although the doors are closed and the phones disconnected.

What do we do in this instance?

The report must be made to the Department of Labour and speak to an Inspector as the witholding of UIF contributions to the Dept. of Labour is Criminal. They must persue it. Furthermore any deductions for Income Tax that are not paid over to SARS is also criminal and that must be reported aswell.
