Tuna en omega 3

Ek het by "experts" gehoor dat tuna geblik in olie wel minder omega 3 bevat as die geblik in water omdat van die omega 3 kan uitlek/oplos in die olie en meestal gooi mens die olie weg en dus die omega 3 daarmee saam.

Dankie vir hierdie insig. Dit is wel moontlik, maar oor die algemeen behoort die omega-3 vetsure wat binne in die weefsels van die vis sit en net aan die liggaam beskikbaar word wanneer die vis verteer word in die spysverteringskanaal, nie in die olie op te los nie. Dit is egter 'n goeie idee om tuna geblik in water te gebruik aangesien dit 'n laer kJ-inhoud het.
