Treatment with Zoladex

In January I was treated with Zoladex (one time injection in stomach). My docter said it would keep my menstruation away for 3 months. This treatment was for stage 4 endometriosis. It has been 7 months now and still I didn't start menstruating. Is this normal or should I contact him?

Dear Annie

I would expect your menstrual cycle to have resumed and therefore I would suggest you start by excluding a pregnancy. Should this be negative, I would certainly suggest you visit your gynaecologist again.
