travel sickness which meds???

Cybervet, you mentioned that there are motion sickness meds for dogs. PLEASE say what they are, even if you just mention the active ingredient. My vet previously has prescribed sedatives for my carsick dog and I hate the effect if has on him- he's really doped, and actually he still gets nauseous.

It is Alprazolam (a sedative from the same group as diazepam) and is used in very low dosages. It is not strictly speaking a motion sickness medication but has that effect.
