Transverse lie

My daughter is 38wks preg with her 2nd child. She was told by her gynae that the baby is lying transverse. The doc said she doesnt often see this at 38wks and it is a concern. Obviously she will not be able to have a natural birth, but what other complications could there be? (Baby is right size and everything else is normal).

She would likely require a caesarean section and in most instances not much is found to explain it
