transuretha biopsy recovery

What is the best medication to use to aid recovery after the biopsy?
There is a lot of pain, anxious about urinating because of the pain. very red and sore? was prescribed bactroban but there is no improvement in over a week and a half.

Get some remicaine gel to put in the urethra - this will act as a local anaesthetic and relieve the pain when urinating. Continue with the Bactroban too. Use citrosoda to make the urine less acidic.
